TESS: Gastro

Comprehensive simulation station for training in a variety of upper GI endoscopic procedures. Techniques include:

• Haemostasis - banding oesophageal varices; injecting a gastric varix; treating a bleeding gastric ulcer with injection/cautery or clip; passing a Sengstaken Blakemore tube

• PEG tube insertion

• Oesophageal stricture dilation

• Foreign body removal, overtube placement

Each model consists of:

• Stomach with ulcer, gastric varix and PEG stations

• Oesophagus x3 - standard, banding and dilation stations

• Stand x1

• Carry case x1

• Starter pack of inserts (ulcer x2, oesophageal varix x2, gastric varix x1, PEG x1, dilation x1)
